Lloyd Alan Fletcher and Anne L. Le Maistre were manacled together by the State of New York on August 6, 1988.

Le Maistre is pronounced "luh maste" to rhyme with waste and waist and haste; i.e., the "r" is silent, as is the space. Prizes are awarded to those who can pronounce "Lloyd"; correctly in the Welsh (send us a WAV or SND file as proof!)
